How can I start taking classes?

Step 2: Book a free trial lesson to talk about your needs and how I can help.
Step 3: Buy some lessons from the Lesson store and book them on the Booking Page.

How does Payment work?

You can pay for lessons at the Lesson Store. I use PayPal which accepts most major credit and debit cards. Please let me know if PayPal does not work for you.

You must pay for all lessons BEFORE, not after. Please purchase your lessons at the Lesson Store, then you can book the lessons on the Booking Page.

Do the lessons expire?

Yes. All lessons must be used within 30 days of purchase. You can buy lessons in packages of 4 or more. This means you must take at least 4 lessons per month. Unfortunately, I cannot help you with anything less than one lesson per week. This regular contact is essential for me to ensure your success with your learning goals.

How many lessons can I take per week?

For most students, I recommend 2 lessons per week. If you are very determined and have a lot of time to study, you can take more lessons per week. I give you lots of things to study outside of class. More than three classes per week is a lot of work so I only recommend it to students who are not working and don’t have a lot of other comittments.

How do the online lessons work?

All classes are 1-on-1. I use Zoom which you can download for free on your computer. Please use a computer with an attached microphone rather than a phone or other device. This will give you the best quality experience. Most lesson content is shared online through my website. I will share some materials with you directly by sending you the files/links to your email.

Do you offer in-person lessons?

Yes, if you live in Green Bay, Wisconsin. You’re welcome to come to my house for your lesson. Please let me know so I can send you my address.

How much homework will I have?

This depends on your current level and what your goals are. I recommend dedicating at least 30 minutes per day to study your language. I will provide all the homework and explain how to do it. All course materials are included in the price of the lesson.

What if I need to cancel a class?

If you are not able to make a session, please request a reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours will still be charged.

It is your responsibility to reschedule a session if you cannot make it. You can cancel/reschedule your sessions using the link in your email.

Since I have a busy schedule with other students, it is really important to start and end on time. If you show up late, it usually will not be possible to make up that time.

How can I contact you before/after the lesson?

If you need to contact me before or after the lesson, please send me an email and I will respond to you as soon as possible. Please do not send me emails or messages to cancel or reschedule your lessons. Follow the instructions above to cancel/reschedule. Thank you.
