Optimizing your computer to study languages

Intro

Computers are an amazing tool for learning a new language. Today, your computer is the most powerful tool you have to enhance and accelerate your learning process.

Many of us have heard this idea from science that we only use 10% of our brain’s full potential. I would say the same thing for how people use their computers. Many people don’t realize how much faster they can learn if they actually take full advantage of their computers.

In this guide. I’m going to give you a few tips on how to use your computer to to help you learn your language better and faster.

Hardware

Buying a few accessories for your computer will greatly enhance your learning experience.

Microphones & Headsets

A good microphone/headset greatly improves the quality of your lessons. Here are a few reasons why:

• You will hear the sounds of the language more clearly and develop better listening skills
• Your teacher will hear your voice more clearly. This will allow him/her to give you more detailed feedback about your pronunciation.
• You will hear your teacher better. This will improve your listening skills and make the lesson more enjoyable because your teacher will not have to repeat things as often.
• Bad microphones produce poor quality sound which is frustrating and annoying to listen to. With a good microphone, your voice will be more enjoyable to listen to

All headsets for gaming are great options. This website has many deals for headsets.

Mouse

I know a lot of people who always use their mousepad because it’s what they’re used to and they like it. Even when they have the option of using a mouse, they forget to or choose to use the mousepad instead because it’s what feels normal to them.

Stop wasting time and get a mouse! A mouse will help you work faster and do more work in less time. I like these recommendations but you can buy any mouse that you want. Seriously, you have no idea how much time you are wasting by always using a mousepad.
